Chefs/Cooks
We are committed to delivering a wonderful and authentic dining experience at The Code. We use premium and fresh high quality products from Australia and Italy – and we are looking for cooks who have 2 years’ experience with Italian cuisine to join our team.
Roles available full time and part time.
Ideally you will have:
- Formal qualifications (certificate 3 or 4)
- Have 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced, high service volume environment
- Are flexible and organised and take pride in their career
- Are team players who are professional and friendly
Pizzaioli
We welcome applicants with a passion for Pizza – and experience kneading, stretching by hand, rolling dough, dressing and garnishing Pizza, and oven management
Part time & full time job available.
Ideally you will have:
- A passion for pizza
- Must have experience in Italian style hand stretched pizza
- Attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered to our customers
- Experience making dough, base preparation and general pizza preparation
- Clean and tidy working methodology
- Flexible to work in shifts including weekends and late evenings
- High understanding of food safety practices and hygiene
- Experience delivering in a fast-paced environment
Barista/Bartender
If you want to work in a beautiful bar- we want you at The Code. You will be able to make great coffee and creative and classic cocktails. You’ll know the difference between an Arabica Blend and Single Origin, and work your way from a Negroni to a Negroamaro Wine. It’s a fun and dynamic environment that complements our food offering.
Part time and full time jobs available.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in a similar role (highly regarded).
- You must have a passion for food and beverage
- Experience in a busy dining establishment
- Valid RSA certificate
- Coffee, Wine & cocktail knowledge.
- Be a great communicator
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Initiative and be a team player.
- Good personal presentation.
- Self-motivation, can do attitude.
